November

As the weather in Melbourne is finally starting to get warmer we have been busy at Let There Be Light travelling the country with some of Australia's best acts.

First for November was Missy Higgins Sydney shows with the Sydney Symphony at the State Theatre. Such a beautiful venue isn't without it's challenges though and it took some thinking outside the box to get 50 musicians to fit on the unusual shaped stage that is the State Theatre. Great start to a 5 city tour. Brisbane followed at the BCEC and finally Melbourne at the Plenary.

Next, Dan Sultan at Freo Festival. Great show in an historic old building in Freemantle. Amazing band provided a great show both in the West and in follow up shows in Sydney at the Manning Bar and Melbourne at 170 Russell. If you have never seen him, make it a priority to get to a show one day soon.

Meanwhile back in Melbourne, we were out at the Melbourne Showgrounds helping to add some atmosphere at Equitana. Lighting up unusual environments with the horses of Equitana has been a recurring event for Let There Be Light and this year did not disappoint.

If you were not at Queesncliff Music Festival this year you missed out on some brilliant performances. Let There Be Light was there with Peter Garrett and the Alter Egos. What a show!
